Trevor was born and raised just outside of Salt Lake City, Utah. He began playing the game of golf for over 10 years and discovered his passion for teaching at the same time. While in America prior to his arrival here at the Cindy Reid Golf Academy Trevor was employed by two different golf clubs, Glenwild Golf Club & Spa which is the #1 rated golf course in Park City, Utah and The Silverleaf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. During his tenure at these two prestigious clubs, Trevor gained a vast amount of knowledge about the golf swing. Over the past three years, Trevor has had the opportunity to work with a number of celebrities including Michael Jordan and Bill Engvall. He has spent most of his professional career learning from the worlds best PGA Tour players and coaches.
Another large part of the game Trevor enjoys is competing in golf tournaments. At the age of 12 Trevor began playing the game of golf and was chosen as the captain of his high school golf team the following year. While in high school Trevor received honors in three golf tournaments in his senior year and led his team to the State Championship tournament for four consectuvie years. A feat that his high school team had not achieved prior to his arrival. In 2005, Trevor received a full scholarship to play collegiate golf at Iowa Western where he qualified for the NCAA Nationals tournament that year. Just recently in September Trevor qualified for the 2010 PGA National Assistants Championship just before moving to China.
Trevor is very excited about this opportunity here in China to continue his growth as both a teacher and person and he doesn’t think there could be a better place to get this sort of experience then the Cindy Reid Golf Academy. While here in China, Trevor goal is to help improve and change a lot of lives and become a part of bettering the enjoyment and growth in the great game of golf.
