Born and raised in Utah, United Stated of America Trevor Salzman was introduced to the game of golf at an age of 12. He was selected as the captain of his high school golf team and earned a full athletic scholarship at the Iowa Western CC in 2005. During his amateur career he received multiple honours for his golf achievements.
Trevor Salzman felt a passion and was quickly embraced by golf instruction. After collegiate golf, he was employed by two different golf clubs, Glenwild Golf Club & Spa which is the #1 rated golf course in Park City, Utah and The Silverleaf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. Over the past three years, Trevor had the opportunity to work with a number of celebrities including Michael Jordan and Bill Engvall.
Trevor Salzman became associated with the Cindy Reid Golf Academy in 2010 and is appointed as the Director of Instruction. He is passionate about junior golf, and was assigned to direct the Junior Elite Program in 2011. His commitment to the game and teaching is evident in his involvement within many areas such as: writing articles, emphasizing the importance of fitness and sharing the knowledge of golf instruction with fellow colleagues.
As an instructor, Trevor Salzman has built a great reputation for his ability to help players with the mental side of the game. He is an expert in facilitating and simplifying all aspects of the game of golf. He stresses the importance of a solid and consistent pre-shot routine combined with a creative visualization. Being an instructor, he thinks that communication and interaction are essential, and therefore applies a hands-on and active teaching method.
Trevor Salzman is fascinated working with juniors and is devoted to develop them into champions. He enjoys and thrives on taking players to their highest capable playing levels and making them the best player on the golf course they can be.
