Charles Zhang is born and raised in Hubei. He began playing golf since the age of 19. As an amateur, he managed to garner several domestic amateur tournaments titles. Before turning professional at the age of 24, he passed the Chinese PGA exam and achieved the best-written result in China among all participants. His lowest score during a tournament was 65.
Charles does a lot of activities related to golf. He continuously tries to improve himself by; reading books, working out, writing articles and playing golf weekly. His true passion is to pass along knowledge of the game. Communication is one of his strengths. He sees the necessities from the student’s point of view and applies personalized teaching. Charles draws special attention to listening to students and always tries to apply different methods to get the point across. He is an optimistic and positive person who tries to satisfy the needs of all types of golfers.
As an instructor, Charles finds punctuality and commitment essential. He is a hard worker and is always willing to put energy and effort into his students. He aims to improve people’s golf game and is devoted his students personal goals. He wants all his students to enjoy golf and hopes to offer them an unforgettable golf experience.

Charles became associated with the Cindy Reid Golf Academy in 2007 and has high ambitions as a golf instructor. He obtained the CRG Certification, an innovative 2 year program that creates great golf instructors, in 2010. By specializing in the fullswing area, he aims to become China’s number 1 golf instructor and is inspired to develop champions.
